Here are a couple of the documents we had for the project:

Asset Request

Research Document

Game Pitch

Game Manual

Game Complete!

Today we finally finished the game, there are still things that could be tweaked but in the end it was a great project, the team was amazing, and I want to thank them for a wonderful experience. The final presentation was also really good, people seemed to enjoy our game.

Here are a couple screenshots of the final build:

New Menus

Today we got a great design for our menus, it goes perfectly with the game, after this all we have left is Bug Testing!

Here is the current screenshots of the game:

New Version

We are one week away from the turn-in, the group is going great, most of the work left is tweeking the numbers to make things work correctly, also we are missing particle effects and some menus.

here is the couple of screenshots:

The Cells

After getting the characters for the game, we now got the Cells, with this, all that we are missing is a background and the images for the menus.

We have ART!

After a long time of seeing our placeholder art, today we finally get to add new art to our game. The artist for the project is called Chris Jahosky.

Here are our characters:

Each of these guys is a different Virus, they have different personalities, some might move faster but they may take longer to infect a cell.

First Version

There are three weeks remaining in the project, we have worked really hard, and now we are at version 0.5 of the final game. The engine is complete, we are able to create Levels, Particle Effects and Animations with our tools and see them immediately on the game.

Here is are a couple of screenshots for this version:

Particle Editor

As you may know this project is not simply creating a game, the idea is that in a team of 4 coders we develop a working engine that can be used to create our game. For this reason we are currently working on tool development, and on my part I have created a Particle Engine.

Here is a screenshot of the particle creator:

Milestone 1

Today we finished the POC. We presented it to a group of class mates and teachers. here is a final screenshot of the executable.

Some of the most important changes for this version:

1)Enhanced minimap
2)Scrollable Background
3)Enemies Spread out.
4)Win/Lose Conditions
5)3 Levels

Proof of Concept

For a couple of weeks, the team has been working hard to finish up the concept and all the other details of the game. for now we have this first version of the Proof of Concept (POC) the main idea with this is to create a "cheap" version of the game using a game tool (We are using game maker), this way we are able to test out Gameplay.
